Methycobal contains Mecobalamin, a coenzyme form of Vitamin B12 that is biologically active in the human body. Unlike standard Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), Mecobalamin is more effectively retained by the liver and other tissues. It is primarily used to treat peripheral neuropathies (nerve damage in the extremities) and megaloblastic anemia caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency. It plays a critical role in the repair of nerve tissues and the production of healthy red blood cells.

Active Ingredient: Mecobalamin (500 mcg per 1 mL ampoule).
Inactive Ingredients: Sodium chloride and water for injection. The pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide.

Administration: This medication is administered via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.
