Chew Nicorette gum using the ""Park-n-Chew"" technique. Nicotine is released as the gum is chewed, then absorbed into the body through the lining of the mouth. The steps below describe the ""Park-n-Chew"" method for chewing nicotine gum.

Step 1: Chew slowly (the taste of the gum will increase)
Step 2: Rest the gum on the side of the mouth
Step 3: When the taste has faded, start to chew again.
Step 4: Continue this process for about half an hour.
